WAITING FOR THE MOON TO RISE (2006) |
| MOTION GRAPHICS DESIGN AND ANIMATION |
I am an artist, designer, and animator living in San Francisco. My recent film, Waiting for the Moon to Rise, is an animated short that combines the hand-made elements of stop-motion animation with the computer-generated elements of applications like After Effects. The film technique draws on both my background in studio art and in graphic design. Integrating the hand-made with the computer-generated enables me to maintain an organic, human feel while capitalizing on the flexibility technology provides, and is an approach I try to use in all of my work.
